Windham County

Want to see how the Clean Energy leaders of Windham County are organizing themselves for maximum impact? Join us at our regional conference at the Ashford’s Knowlton Hall, 25 Pompey Hollow Rd. (RT 44) on February 7 from 9 am to noon.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Woodstock Green Team leader Jim Stratos will explain how volunteers there put their town on the road to 100 per cent renewable energy for its town buildings.
  • Learn about new Energy Efficiency Fund programs to earn you points towards a Bright Ideas grant, ie., LED bulb fair (3 for $10)
  • Next Step Living will discuss partnering with Task Forces for community outreach.
  • And, we’ll get the latest from CEFIA/Green Bank.

We will break into working groups to discuss ways we can work together, to explore the possibility of working with the COGs, and to discuss Advocacy issues like Community Renewables (aka shared solar).

See how we're getting it done in Connecticut's Quiet Corner!

To sweeten the deal, refreshments - coffee and baked goods - will be provided by Shayna B and the Pickle, a local bakery specializing in gluten-free and using compostable serveware.

We hope you’ll be able to join us along with many of your team! Please RSVP to Susan Eastwood Chair, ACETF at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hosted by the Ashford Clean Energy Task Force.
